Smart Boy

Christian wanted to stay up late last night, and he decided his best chance was to flatter me. "Mommy, you're so beautiful and thin!" Earlier in the day, he told me sweetly (as if it were a compliment), "Mommy, you're getting chubby." So in response to his beautiful & thin comment, I said, "Am I chubby?" He paused, then looked to his Daddy for support. "Daddy, what should I say?" he asked innocently. This is a good skill to learn - when women ask if they look fat, the truth is not always the right answer!
